Projects

Our humble resume to date includes Airstreams and Silver Streaks from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.  Please see the links below for pictures and details of each project.

AVAILABLE.

The Model 7 Silver Streak Clipper is unique among vintage travel trailers for its “alien eye” or “rocketeer” front and rear windows. Purchased from a seller in Paris, Texas, she was a twin to our first Clipper– though in far worse shape initially. Read about her renovation and see a full list of her specs, capacities, and amenities here!

SOLD.

Our first renovation as a business, purchased from a seller in Arizona. (We started referring to her as “the Arizona Clipper” to differentiate her from our second ’51 Clipper.) Completed June 2019 and underwent “sea trials” in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado in July.

Rescued by and renovated for a client, this classic Airstream Safari had been subject to terrible abuse in her former life as a food truck. Her original curved windows had been replaced by cheap residential windows, and her exterior had been hacked and patched with industrial diamond decking. We worked with our client to bring her back to life as a beautiful, serene mobile massage studio– with the potential for additional renovations down the road.

SOLD.

Our first vintage travel trailer renovation, completed as a hobby project in 2015. Took her out in the Texas hill country and to the Big Bend.

AVAILABLE. Renovation underway.

The Airstream Liner was the first Airstream model produced after World War II. You might recognize its cyclops-eye profile from the iconic photo of a bicyclist towing the 22-foot model.

Renovation slated for 2023.

This rare beauty has been very well cared for over the course of her life, with an almost pristine exterior. Unlike the Model 7 (see Paris and Arizona, below), the 1954 Clipper has operable front and rear glass windows for cross-ventilation and ease of maintenance.
